Odnaleziono tu bowiem \u015blady osadnictwa sprzed 4,5 tysi\u0119cy lat &#8211; kultury puchar\u00f3w lejkowatych. Pierwotnie folwark tu zlokalizowany nale\u017ca\u0142 do starostwa zawichojskiego i nastawi\u0142 si\u0119 na obs\u0142ug\u0119 ruchliwej drogi. Podstaw\u0105 dzia\u0142alno\u015bci by\u0142a karczma, ale tak\u017ce musia\u0142a mie\u0107 gospodarcze zaplecze w postaci pola, lasu, gorzelni.<\/p>\n<p>W XIX w. karczm\u0119 prowadzili m.in. szynkarz Tomasz Kr\u00f3likowski i jego syn J\u00f3zef. W I po\u0142. Wygoda dodatkowo specjalizowa\u0142a si\u0119 w owczarstwie. Natomiast po II wojnie \u015bwiatowej Wygoda zas\u0142yn\u0119\u0142a w regionie z produkcji trzody chlewnej i byd\u0142a mlecznego. Struktura zasiew\u00f3w (zbo\u017ca, okopowe, przemys\u0142owe) podporz\u0105dkowana by\u0142a produkcji pasz. Do lat 70 XX w. wie\u015b wyr\u00f3\u017cnia\u0142a si\u0119 najwy\u017csz\u0105 towarowo\u015bci\u0105 produkcji rolnej w pow. sandomierskim. Rolnicy osi\u0105gali wysokie efekty w chowie loszek hodowlanych i reprodukcyjnych. Rolnicy zajmowali si\u0119 te\u017c produkcj\u0105 mi\u0119sn\u0105 i mleczn\u0105. W nagrod\u0119 wie\u015b otrzyma\u0142a pierwszy w powiecie wodoci\u0105g. W latach 70 XX w. w rolnictwie wygodzkim zacz\u0119\u0142y si\u0119 jednak dokonywa\u0107 zasadnicze przeobra\u017cenia. Rolnicy wykorzystuj\u0105c lokalne atuty klimatyczno &#8211; glebowe (m.in. niski poziom wod gruntowych, grub\u0105 mi\u0105\u017cszo\u015b\u0107 (do 25 m) lessowej gleby rozpocz\u0119li nasadzenia drzew owocowych, przede wszystkim jab\u0142oni.
